Mentoring

Areas of Mentoring

To this end we provide the following mentoring.

We Serve:

One of the core values that JC stands for is to be of service and to give back to the community. Mentoring is done on how people can serve others and be a contributing factor to the society that they are a part of. Service is the core of every business. Workshops will be conducted to help companies improve their service level, help individuals develop a service mindset and heart set.

We Lead:

Through the 'We Lead' initiative, mentors interact with the individuals of all age groups and guide them on questions regarding leadership, competition and teamwork. The idea is to create better leaders who would be able to grow and learn with their team.

We Learn:

The 'We Learn' program partners with independent teachers to provide training and coaching in areas like English & French language training, learning skills, parental training for special needs children, financial literacy, ayurvedic & french cooking, the art of mindfulness, developing culinary skills, music etc. A part of this service is JC’s Life Skill Mentoring Program, the aim of which is to provide a holistic mentoring experience to students.

International Teen Club (ITC):

This is one of our focus areas where we address the topics of teen parenting and problems faced by teenagers on a daily basis. All the sessions hosted by the ITC are open to teens and their parents where they can reach out to our mentors and get a deeper understanding of how to deal with the issues they regularly face. The Young Mentor Program is an initiative of the ITC that helps to facilitate a sort of peer-to-peer mentoring.

Food, Health & Wellness:

Experts in this domain share their knowledge, experience and suggestions on how to approach various health and food fads, design affordable meal plans, and adopt a better productive lifestyle.

Aged care:

Healthy and Happy ageing is the focus of this service. Providing care and counsel to the elderly is an area that requires extreme emphasis. Mentors give their expert advice to senior citizens on ways to be productive and lead a full life even after a certain age.

Self-development:

Mentoring on moral values and ethics is one of the main goals. Apart from this, subjects like communication skills, personality development, motivation, development of interview skills, etc., are dealt with under this service.

Ethical Marketing:

Ethics in business and marketing practices is a field that needs to be addressed in today's scenario. Mentors from a partner organization share how to work in an ethical manner, with different situations that people might face in a professional environment on a regular basis.
